Job summary

ETS Vision seeks a Travel Optometrist to provide on-site vision exams at assisted living facilities across the Bay Area. The role offers a per diem of $650, with an additional $100 daily bonus and reimbursement for gas and mileage.

You will drive to facilities in Berkeley, Fremont, Oakland and nearby areas, typically 8am–2pm, with a flexible schedule and mobile equipment provided. Ideal candidates hold a Doctor of Optometry degree, CA license, and a valid driver’s license, and are passionate

Qualifications

Doctor of Optometry degree (O.D.) is required.
Valid CA optometry license.
Driver’s license required.
Willing and able to drive around the area for work.
Passion for caring for the geriatric population.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive vision exams.
Take lightweight mobile equipment to assisted living facilities.
Conduct vision screenings for geriatric population.
Travel to Berkeley, Fremont, Oakland and surrounding areas.
