Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking an Optometrist to perform refractions and eyeglass fittings for military service members. You will work primarily on weekends with occasional weekdays, delivering health readiness services to keep service members deployable.

Active, unrestricted state licensure is required. Candidates should be passionate, friendly, and able to work in a mobile/ fixed-clinic setting. Background checks and E-Verify will be used in hiring.

Attention all Optometrists we are calling on you to work with us providing refractions and eyeglass fittings and treatment to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of VT on an "as needed basis". We provide health readiness services to meet the medical requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include performing refractions and eyeglass fittings with equipment provided by DOCS Health.
