Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking an Optometrist to perform refractions and eyeglass fittings and provide eye care to service members. The role will primarily involve weekend work, with occasional weekday hours, as part of a mobile/tie-in clinic network serving U.S.

Army Reserve, ARNG, USNR, MARFORRES, USCGR, ANG, and USAFR personnel. The clinician must hold an active Optometry license in the state and be available on weekends; prior military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Attention all Optometrists we are calling on you to work with us providing refractions and eyeglass fittings and treatment to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of VT on an "as needed basis".

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include performing refractions and eyeglass fittings with equipment provided by DOCS Health.
