Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a licensed Optometrist (OD) to join our Beaverton location. The role offers full-time or part-time hours with competitive compensation between $110,000 and $150,000 per year, negotiable based on experience.

You will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose ocular diseases, prescribe glasses, and provide perioperative care while using Crystal PM EMR. Excellent patient care and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited program.
• Valid state license to practice optometry.
• Customer‑service orientation with strong interpersonal skills.
• Professional conduct and ethics in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams.
• Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease.
• Prescribe corrective lenses.
• Provide pre- and post‑operative care to surgical patients.
• Counsel patients to promote healthy vision.

About Our Practice

Pacific Eye Group is a family-owned optometry practice starting in March 2019 in Portland, Oregon. We have since decided to open an additional location in Eugene. We are a doctor-owned, patient‑centric group providing convenient, caring, and personalized Eyecare to our patients inside Visionworks. As an employee of The Practice, you can enjoy the benefits of practicing without the hassle of running the business. We handle all insurance billing, credentialing, staff hiring & training, without on‑call or after‑hours work.

Optometrist Job Duties & Responsibilities

We are searching for an enthusiastic OD to join our growing practice! You'll use your skills to provide high‑quality vision care to our patients. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering quality patient care, and is eager to learn and develop their clinical skillset. Your regular duties will include:

• Perform comprehensive eye exams
• Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
• Prescribe corrective lenses
• Provide pre- and post‑operative care to surgical patients
• Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients
• Maintain patient records using Crystal PM EMR

Optometrist Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
