No optical experience? No problem! Some weekend and evening shifts are required.

You Will

• Consult with patients, accurately document existing conditions and complaints, and chart medical history to prepare for the Optometrist exam.
• Maintain a smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and office staff throughout appointments.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with office procedures during their visits.
• Learn to use all pretest equipment through company training to perform visual screenings prior to the doctor’s visit.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients and perform other preliminary tests.
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to provide a seamless patient experience.

About You

• High School Diploma/GED with basic math skills.
• Personable, patient, and able to comfort patients during screening processes.
• Detail-oriented and able to work closely with the Optometrist.
• Willing to learn about industry, products, and services.
• Team player committed to providing excellent patient care.
• Prior healthcare/medical/optical experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
