Job summary

Dr. Gary Gold & Associates is seeking an Optometric Technician I to support surgeons and staff in delivering top-tier eye care. You will assist in pre-screening, testing, and patient education, while guiding patients through contact lens training and benefits verification.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and a proactive attitude to contribute to a smooth, patient-centered experience in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience, optometry preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate and connect with patients.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities—you’ll multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-focused and capable of documenting patient exams and procedures with accuracy.
