Job summary

Premier Eye Associates in Opelika, AL is seeking an Eye Care Technician to join our private optometry practice. You will guide patients through intake, health history review, and pre-testing, helping doctors with contact lens services and treatment preparation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Warm, professional demeanor and strong communication skills.

• Previous healthcare/optometry/optical sales/customer service experience (preferred).
• Experience with scheduling, electronic health records, insurance, or multi-line phone systems (preferred).
• Prior eye care experience is helpful but not required (preferred).

Position Details

• Full-time position
• 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
• Starting pay: $14.00 per hour; final pay is based on relevant experience and qualifications
