Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optometric Technician to support our clinical team at our Lawrence, KS location. The Medical Assistant will assist with preliminary testing, verify insurances, and communicate with patients, doctors, and managers to ensure a world class Total Patient Experience.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year in a medical office or patient-facing role, a high school diploma or GED, and are able to pass a background check. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Favorable result on background check as required by state.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED required
