Visionworks is seeking an OD Coordinator who serves as the face of our Exam Practice, guiding patients through the Visionworks experience with a friendly, knowledgeable approach. The role includes training and scheduling OD Techs and supporting the exam lane, optics, and services to meet patient needs.

You will handle administrative tasks, coordinate patient flow, and ensure accurate records while contributing to a welcoming in-store atmosphere and high-quality eye care experiences.

Competenze

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Licensed OD Techs will have/maintain a State Opticians License

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products and services.
• Restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet patient needs.
• Count the Optometrist’s daily revenue and prepare for deposit.
• Prepare Technician work schedules to meet demand.

Pay Class: Full Time

Pay Rate:$12.50- 14/hr

The Role:

A VisionworksOD Coordinatoris the very face of our Exam Practice and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient. The OD Coordinatorassistswith the training and scheduling of OD Techs. This person is trained and knowledgeable about eye health and preliminary testing, optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The OD Coordinator guides the patient through the first steps of the Visionworks experience ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Maintain complete andaccuratepatient records beforeconducingpreliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transitionpatientfrom doctor to sales floor and provide associates necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goalsincluding:restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meetadditionalpatient needs.
• Count the Optometrist’s daily revenue and prepare for deposit.
• Prepare the Technician work schedules to meet patient/Doctor demand.

Qualifications:
