Pay Type: Part Time, 20 - 29 hours

Pay Range: $17.80 - $26.70 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring the best patient journey. This role involves training and knowledge in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a simple, human, and engaging way.

  • Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
  • Introduce patients to the OD and provide essential patient information.
  • Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing associates with necessary information to educate and recommend suitable products and services.
  • Support daily operational activities, including restocking, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience.
Qualifications:
  • Related customer or patient experience preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; related job experience is also acceptable.
