Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $15 - $18.47 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring the best patient experience. This role involves training and knowledge in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of the Visionworks experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
  • Introduce patients to the OD and relay important patient information
  • Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing staff with necessary information to recommend suitable products and services
  • Support daily operational activities such as restocking, equipment cleaning, and answering phones to enhance patient experience
