Pay Class: Part Time

Pay: $10.64-$14.10 per hour

The Role: A Visionworks OD Tech/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, ensuring the best experience for every patient. You will be trained in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. Your role is to guide patients through their eye exam journey in a friendly and professional manner.

• Maintain accurate patient records before conducting testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and share important information
• Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor, recommending products and services
• Support store operations including inventory, equipment cleaning, and answering phones
• Support opening/closing the store as needed

Qualifications:

• Customer or patient experience preferred but not required
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Licensed OD Techs must maintain a State Opticians License
