Pay Details:

Type: Part Time

Range: $15 - $18.54 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our exam practice, ensuring a positive experience for every patient. The role involves knowledge of eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their eye care journey in a friendly and professional manner.

• Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and share relevant information
• Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing staff with necessary information
• Support store operations to maintain exam lane and patient experience, including restocking, cleaning, and answering phones

Qualifications:

• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
