Pay Class: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.81-18.47/hr

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, ensuring the best possible journey for every patient. This role involves training and knowledge in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a friendly and professional manner.

Responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
2. Introducing patients to the OD and providing important patient information.
3. Transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor and providing staff with necessary information to educate and recommend products and services.
4. Supporting daily operational activities such as restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related experience.
