Job summary

Henry Ford Health System is seeking a dedicated assistant to support optometry services at the HF Optimeyes Troy SVS Store. You will assist doctors during comprehensive visual exams, perform preliminary testing, and ensure accurate electronic medical record entries are made for each patient visit.

Educating patients on contact lens handling and eyewear care, coordinating with eyewear consultants, and guiding customers to the right sources are also key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Previous customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Basic computer and math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor with comprehensive visual and medical exams.
