Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $15-$18.54 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient. This person is trained and knowledgeable about eye health, preliminary testing, optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of the Visionworks experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a simple, human, and bold way.

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to OD and provide important patient information
• Transition patients from doctor to sales floor, providing associates with necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Support store operations by restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet patient needs

Qualifications:

• Related customer or patient experience preferred but not necessary
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience
