Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $15-$18.54 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice and is dedicated to ensuring a positive experience for every patient. This role involves being knowledgeable about eye health, preliminary testing, optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their Visionworks experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a friendly and professional manner.

• Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide relevant patient information
• Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor and inform associates about patient needs to recommend suitable products and services
• Support daily operational activities such as restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience

Qualifications:

• Experience working with customers or patients is preferred but not required
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; related job experience is also acceptable
