Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $15-$18.54 per hour

The Role

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, ensuring the best possible journey for every patient. This role involves being trained and knowledgeable about eye health, preliminary testing, optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a human, simple, and bold manner.

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide important patient information
• Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing associates with necessary information to educate and recommend products and services
• Support store operations including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, answering phones, and ensuring a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; related job experience is a plus
