Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Manufacturing Technician to perform a 50/50 split between cleanroom assembly of optofluidic cartridges and electromechanical assembly of capital equipment hardware.

You will support process validations, testing, fixture feedback, and routine maintenance while drafting SOPs and working with QA on IQ/OQ/PQ. Requires 4–7 years in medical device manufacturing and a High School diploma.

Qualifications

• 5 years in medical device manufacturing under cGMP / FDA-regulated standards.
• Experience with IQ/OQ/PQ validations or CAD/SolidWorks.
• Basic machining or light fabrication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on assembly with a 50/50 split between cleanroom and electromechanical assembly.
• Assist with IQ/OQ/PQ validations, prototype builds, and inspection/testing protocols.
• Draft/revise SOPs, work instructions and test logs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on lab and production equipment.
• Support receiving, shipping, inventory counts and incoming material inspection.
