Job summary

Qualifications

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or closely related engineering discipline.
2+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience.
Solid proficiency in SolidWorks CAD.
Comfort with basic electronics, wiring, and I/O signals.
Strong diagnostic mindset with hands-on assembly and testing.
Highly self-motivated, proactive, and quick to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

Automation & Robotics: Design, prototype, and implement precision fixtures and tooling for robotic arms and automated systems.
Opto‑Mechanics & Optics: Interface with optics and laser paths; design mounts and positioning stages.
Electronics & I/O Integration: Wire, test, and integrate sensors, actuators, and basic I/O lines.
Spectroscopy & Laser Systems: Contribute to mechanical design of wavelength-stabilized lasers and systems.
Process Workflows: Develop workflows for laser dicing and automated micro-assembly tooling.
SolidWorks CAD & PDM: Create 3D models and drawings; manage BOMs and PDM.
Vendor Interaction: Collaborate with local/external machine shops and suppliers.
Cross‑Functional Alignment: Report progress to management and cross-functional teams.
