You will design and analyze Directed Energy systems and instrumentation, developing mechanical structures, enclosures, and opto-mechanical components, including thermal and flow analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related technical field.
• Proficiency using SolidWorks 3D modeling tool.
• Ability to work independently on projects with tight schedules.
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support design and analysis of Directed Energy systems and instrumentation.
• Develop mechanical structures, enclosures, and opto-mechanical components.
• Perform thermal and flow analyses for system components.
• Collaborate within a diverse, multi-disciplinary engineering team on multiple efforts.
