General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) seeks an Opto-Mechanical Engineer to join the team in Longmont, CO. You will develop optical hardware performance solutions, lead technical efforts, and collaborate with customers and regulators. Strong CAD skills and experience in optical subsystems are valued.

Domestic travel may be required. Ideal candidates typically hold a bachelor's or master's in engineering with 0–2 years of experience and may have a PE license.

Competenze

• Typically requires a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering from an accredited institution and two or more years of engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Prior experience in opto-mechanical engineering or optical technologies and understanding of optical integration techniques.
• Ability to lead or coordinate workloads and projects to meet milestones.
• Desirable experience with projectile and missile optical subsystems.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for interfacing with departments and customers.
