Job summary

Knight Enterprises Management, LLC. is seeking an Opto Mechanical Assembler in Titusville, Florida. Job Title: Opto Mechanical Assembler

Department: Optics

Reports To: Knight Vision Supervisor

Purpose of Position

The purpose of the Opto Mechanical Assembler is to assemble high quality electrical and optical parts under the guidelines established by standard operating procedures and supervisory personnel. The job is highly repetitive in nature, and requires constant concentration.

Special Training Needed

This position requires a very detail-oriented individual that can maintain daily build rates that are based on the monthly schedule. Knowledge of electronic/electrical equipment or mechanical a plus.

Education & Experience
  • Must be able to read and interpret drawings, use simple math, and use basic hand held measuring tools.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Follow prescribed instructions and procedures.
  • Record required data during the build process.
  • Train others in processes and procedures as requested.
  • Follow safety requirements at all times.
  • Good interpersonal skills to communicate with co-workers and train others.
  • Manage time and workflow to meet required daily quota.
  • Exhibit strict attention to detail.
  • Exhibit flexibility in switching tasks as directed by the supervisor or lead.
  • Will not discuss or disclose any confidential or proprietary information that is available.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisory or management personnel.
