Job summary

FS Poly seeks Systems Engineers of all levels in Annapolis Junction, MD, to install, configure and support networks, systems, and applications across all levels while monitoring health and security. Roles range from junior to senior with increasing responsibilities.

Mid‑level and Senior roles involve designing and implementing new systems, leading projects, mentoring juniors, and shaping IT strategy. TS/SCI with FS Poly clearance is required; telework is sparse but approved for some missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field, up to 2 years of experience for Junior
• 3–5 years of experience for Mid-Level, including management of medium/large server environments
• 6+ years of experience with advanced system architecture, networking, and security; leadership skills for IT strategy

Qualifications

• Junior: BS in CS, IT, or related field with up to 2 years of experience; knowledge of network, security, OS.
• Mid‑Level: 3–5 years of experience; proven ability to manage medium/large server environments; strong problem‑solving and cloud familiarity.
• Senior: 6+ years of experience, advanced system architecture, networking, and security knowledge; leadership skills and ability to drive IT strategy.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Windows, Linux, Unix systems.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash).
• Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper‑V).
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Security Clearance

TS/SCI with FS Poly required. No CCA sponsorship or upgrades.

Location

Various worksites across MD: Fort Meade, Annapolis Junction, Columbia, Hanover, and more. Telework is sparse, but approved for some missions.
