Job summary

LogicBlox is seeking a talented optimization expert to join our Analytics team in Atlanta. You will develop and evaluate models for large-scale optimization problems using the LogicBlox platform.

You will collaborate with clients to understand urgent questions, apply forecasting and solver tools like CPLEX and Gurobi, and communicate results effectively. Some travel may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• 3+ years work experience in analytics or OR
• Forecasting expertise a plus
• Experience using solvers such as CPLEX and Gurobi
• Strong database and data manipulation skills

Responsibilities

• Leverage extensive quantitative expertise to develop and evaluate models for large-scale optimization problems
• Apply the full suite of tools on the LogicBlox platform—analytical, statistical, simulation, machine learning—to extract insights
• Collaborate with clients to understand their urgent questions, business needs and requirements
• Develop effective methods and tools for communicating results
• Some travel may be required
