Job summary

You will verify performance of coherent transceivers and gain hands-on exposure to the development lifecycle of high‑speed optical components. You will work with engineers to develop test procedures, scripts, and calibration methods, monitor metrics, and contribute to design verification efforts in real projects that impact global connectivity.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in one of the following:
• An undergraduate degree program (Associate's or Bachelor's) with 2 years of work experience; or
• A Master's degree program with 0 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Support design verification testing (DVT) of coherent transceivers.
• Develop calibration and test procedures for consistent transceiver performance.
• Create methods, scripts, and software for transmitter/receiver control loops.
• Monitor performance metrics related to power levels and signal estimation.
