Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree with 2 years of work experience; or a Master's degree with 0 years of work experience.
- Education should be in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Expected to continue enrollment after completion of the internship.
- Experience with optical system principles, design verification, or signal estimation in academic, project, or professional settings.
Responsibilities
- Support design verification testing (DVT) of coherent transceivers.
- Develop calibration and test procedures for consistent transceiver performance.
- Create methods, scripts, and software for transmitter/receiver control loops.
- Monitor performance metrics related to power levels and signal estimation.
