Target Optical is seeking an Optician to drive profitable sales while delivering exceptional guest service. You will fit and dispense eyewear, interpret prescriptions, and ensure accurate lens and frame selection to match customer needs.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• ABO Certification required.
• 2+ years in Retail Optical or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drives profitable store sales by fostering a retail selling culture and practicing effective sales skills.
• Develops professional relationships with Team Members.
• Fills ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions, fits and adapts lenses and frames per prescription.
• Ensures high quality and timely product fabrication.
• Interprets prescriptions and lens designs.
• Measures pupillary distances and frame sizing (face, eye size, bridge, temple).
• Fits and adjusts eyewear for comfort and accuracy.
