Job summary

The Framery, SeekWell's online eyewear brand, seeks a licensed dispensing optician to serve as an embedded advisor on a research and prototyping initiative focused on how customers narrow down a large set of frames and decide what looks good online.

We offer a paid, project-based engagement for roughly ten weeks, with part-time hours (5–10 per week). Remote-friendly, with occasional in-person sessions in Draper, UT, as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician with 5–10 years in a retail optical setting.
• Significant experience helping customers narrow frame choices.
• Strong sense of style in eyewear and fit evaluation.
• Comfort in fast-moving, ambiguous project environments.
• Experience contributing to product design or research is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the optical expert across a multi-phase project from research to testing.
• Share how to guide customers from many options to a confident choice.
• Review designs from a fitting and styling perspective for real-world applicability.
• Observe or participate in select customer research sessions and simulations.
• Advise on frame attributes and how they map to catalog language.
