Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; ABO certification within 15 months of hire.
• Willingness and ability to work with managers to obtain licensure and maintain ABO certification.
• Experience in optical retail or healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise and maintain displays in the Optical area.
• Process member purchases and assist with eyewear orders, fittings, and repairs.
• Measure pupillary distance and lens fitting for various prescriptions.
• Coordinate with labs and optometrists on orders and product updates.
• Perform final inspections and ensure calibration of optical equipment.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant recordkeeping and processing of insurance claims where applicable.
