Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate Optical Sales Associate to join our team at NYU Langone Huntington Medical Group. This part-time, benefit-eligible role requires retail optical experience, a love for sales, fashion, and healthcare.

Job Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to promote optical services and provide personalized experiences
• Knowledge of vision plans is a plus
• Maintain and stock optical cases and displays
• Implement product promotions to boost sales and brand awareness
• Stay updated on optical trends and services
• Take lens measurements and adjust frames for fitting
• Assist and educate clients on frames, lenses, and optical products
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher
• Licensed Optician
• At least 3 years of optical sales experience
• Experience in vendor and inventory management
• Ability to develop, track, and achieve sales goals
• Knowledge of current optical market trends and contact lens fitting
• Understanding of eyeglass lens finishings

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
