Job summary

Eyemart Express is seeking an Optical Retail Sales Associate for a part-time role in Lufkin, Texas. You will help customers choose eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings, and support sales with friendly, knowledgeable service.

The position offers flexible scheduling, on-site work at our Lufkin store, and a path to learn the optical business with training provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Optical Retail Sales Associate Part Time

The Retail Sales Associate, also known as a Retail Optician, will primarily assist patients in selecting the eyeglass frames, lenses, and lens coatings that best suit their needs.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all patients.
• Sales and Promotions: Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
• Transaction Processing: Compute and process payment transactions/refunds.
• Insurance Claims: Process insurance claims efficiently.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products.
• Patient Files: Create and maintain patient files, following company and HIPAA policies.
• Patient Assessment: Assess and interpret patient's needs/wants.

Requirements:
