Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail, customer service or sales preferred.
• Experience in optical industry preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions and policies regarding payment, returns and exchanges.
• Process payments and refunds using the in-house POS system.
• Process insurance claims efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
• Take necessary measurements (e.g., pupillary distance).
• Prepare work orders for the lab with all pertinent information.
• Pull correct lenses according to work order specifications.
• Inspect final product for accuracy and adjust frames as needed.
• Price, stock and straighten merchandise.
