Job summary

Eyemart Express is seeking an Optical Retail Sales Associate for a part-time position at Westpark, TX. You will assist patients in selecting eyeglasses, lenses, and coatings, ensuring accurate measurements for grinding, coating, and fitting.

You will also dispense completed glasses to the patient and provide great customer service. The role requires a retail or sales background, strong communication, and a willingness to learn about eyewear products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in retail or sales and customer service preferred.
• Experience in the optical industry is preferred but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all patients.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions and policies.
• Process payments and refunds using the in-house POS system.
• Handle insurance-related questions and claims.
• Take measurements and ensure accurate patient records and prescription information.
• Prepare lab work orders and ensure correct lens/frame specs.
• Dispense glasses and ensure proper fit for customers.
• Price, stock, and straighten merchandise.
