Optical Retail Sales Associate

Eyemart Express is accepting applications for a Retail Sales Associate, also known as a Retail Optician. This role will primarily assist patients in selecting the eyeglass frames, lenses, and lens coatings that best suit their needs. The Retail Sales Associate will also be responsible for ensuring the Lab technicians have accurate measurements and prescription information for grinding, coating, and fitting lenses to the frames. Once the glasses are complete, the Retail Sales Associate is responsible for dispensing the glasses to the patient.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and lens coatings.
• Ensure Lab technicians have accurate measurements and prescription information for lens processing.
• Dispense finished glasses to patients.

Optical Lab Technician

Eyemart Express is accepting applications for an Optical Lab Technician. The Optical Lab Technician will be responsible for cutting, edging, and creating prescription lenses to ensure customers can receive their new prescription glasses in a timely manner. Once the glasses are complete, the Lab technician is responsible for taking the glasses to the retail floor so they can be dispensed to the receiving patient.

Responsibilities:

• Cut and edge prescription lenses.
• Create and adhere to prescription specifications.
• Deliver finished glasses to the retail floor for dispensing.

Education and Experience Requirements
