About the Position

In this position, you will be responsible for inspecting parts to ensure that they meet quality standards. Our ideal candidate is extremely meticulous and detail-oriented. The inspection responsibilities use magnifiers and optical inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect lenses for quality defects.
• Perform measurements using calibrated tools such as calipers.
• Assemble products when required.
• Document inspection outcomes and maintain accurate records.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings to understand product specifications.
• Implement sample rate inspection to ensure product quality.
• Adhere to and promote our ISO9001 quality management system.

Minimum Requirements

• High school degree and authorized to work in the US.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Meticulous and efficient approach to work.
• Ability to learn new precision measurement tools.
• Knowledge of how to use a computer.

Skills/Experience that will help your application:

• 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory technician, quality inspector, or other similar job.
• Steady hands and experience building intricate parts (jewelry, models, etc..)
• Pastexperience using calipers
• Knowledge of how to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with ISO9001 quality management procedures.
• Experience working in a small business.
