The role oversees day-to-day production and development efforts in manufacturing and final assembly, directing staff and coordinating tooling, scheduling, and workflow.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with 11+ years in production settings, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple shifts and complex projects

Responsibilities

• Supervises production and assembly staff across phases of production.
• Oversees tooling design and build for production processes.
• Represents group with planning, test, quality, and engineering staff, vendors and customers.
• Analyzes work orders and blueprints for materials, operations, and sequencing.
• Schedules and coordinates work assignments and time charging.
• Participates in setting group objectives and long-term goals.
• Implements methods to improve production efficiency and quality.
• Oversees product configuration changes and field support.
• Manages recruitment, retention, and development of staff.
• Ensures compliance with laws and company policies.
• Prefers safe operating practices and procedures.
