Qualifications

• Experience with mid-power laser systems, disposable surgical fibers, and thermal management is desirable.
• Knowledge of optical materials and troubleshooting optical systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of fabrication processes for optical sub-systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers within the Mechanical Engineering group.
• Serve as a technical lead and mentor to staff ranging from Engineering Technicians to Senior Engineers.
• Balance resources and capabilities among team members.
