Job summary
Apple is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Optical Components to lead cross-functional teams from early development through mass production. You will drive manufacturing performance by applying hands-on optics process knowledge and data-driven insights, coordinating engineering, operations, and quality across global suppliers to ensure successful ramps.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in optical manufacturing and DOE, with strong leadership and the ability to influence stakeholders
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering, Physics, Optics or related field.
- 7+ years in optical manufacturing, coating, or related high-precision process industries.
- Experience with global suppliers in high-volume production environments.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as JMP or Tableau, and with Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Technical Program Manager (TPM) efforts for optical components from development through mass production.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and quality to ensure manufacturing performance.
- Apply data-driven insights to improve yield, efficiency, and decision-making across programs.
- Manage supplier relationships and program execution to enable successful ramp.
