Job summary

Keysight Technologies is seeking an Optical Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to drive manufacturability and cost effectiveness across the product lifecycle. You will partner with production to introduce new designs, develop tooling, and ensure high-quality interference-based instruments are manufacturable.

The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, data-driven decision making, and leadership in manufacturing process documentation and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Optical Sciences, or related field.
• 4–7 years in a technical manufacturing environment.
• Strong communicator with cross-functional collaboration and data-driven discussions.
• Ability to think critically and translate concepts into practical, results-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Improve products, processes, and manufacturing methodologies to meet requirements.
• Work with production teams on NPI initiatives and transfer designs to production floor.
• Lead tooling design and upgrades using Siemens NX/3D CAD tools and model-based approaches.
• Lead CAPA investigations, determine root causes, and drive corrective actions with technicians.
