Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Optical/Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5+ years with B.S. or 3+ years with M.S. in optical communications or electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with 100G/400G/800G systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize the optical interconnect and photonic manufacturing solutions to improve yield.
• Test, validate, and troubleshoot photoelectric conversion and fiber-optic systems.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and PM teams to ensure successful product development.
• Scale next-generation optical platforms from development to production.
• Travel occasionally to manufacturing sites for technology transfer and production activities.
• Provide day-to-day technical support on the production floor for optical module assembly, testing, and quality control processes.
• Monitor OEE, minimize downtime, and maintain high product quality standards.
• Perform quality inspections and support corrective actions.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma for continuous improvement.
