VSP Vision is seeking a full-time Optical Lab Associate in Tampa to support daily lab operations, production, and patient orders. The role involves processing orders, coordinating with labs and vendors, and ensuring timely communication about delays or issues.

Responsibilities include shipping, inventory control, and maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment. The position requires the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by proactively communicating with patients and vendors.
• Order lenses and frames from labs or vendors based on vision plans.
• Handle shipping and maintain shipment records.
• Unpack and sort inbound frames and lenses for in-house or external lab processing.
• Monitor orders for delays or back orders and resolve issues.
• Assist with inventory control and lab supply ordering; maintain safety standards.
