Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in the optical industry preferred.
• Experience managing people is a plus.
• Experience working in a lab environment with optical lab machinery.

Responsibilities

• Lab Management: Maintain the lab area and equipment to meet production goals and ensure safety and organization.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on lab equipment per schedule and manuals.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues, and facilitate problem-solving among the team.
• Operational Excellence: Read prescriptions accurately, ensure proper lens cutting, and uphold high workmanship and quality.
