GENTLE MONSTER is seeking an Optical Lab Associate to support daily lab operations, assisting the Optical Lab Technician with production tasks, inventory management, and shipping preparation. This role helps maintain an organized and efficient workflow by keeping track of lab supplies, assisting with paperwork and order management, and preparing outgoing shipments.

The Optical Lab Associate at Gentle Monster supports the daily operations of the optical lab by assisting the Optical Lab Technician with production tasks, administrative duties, inventory management, and shipping preparation. This role helps maintain an organized and efficient workflow by keeping track of lab supplies, assisting with paperwork and order management, and preparing outgoing shipments.

What You'll Do

• Assist the Optical Lab Technician with daily lab operations and production support
• Help organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient lab environment
• Support basic eyewear handling, sorting, and order preparation
• Assist with maintaining workflow efficiency during busy periods
• Monitor and keep track of lab supplies and materials
• Restock inventory and notify management when supplies are running low
• Organize storage areas and maintain accurate supply counts
• Assist with receiving and organizing incoming shipments and materials
• Fold and assemble ship-out boxes for outgoing orders
• Prepare packages for shipping and ensure proper labeling
• Organize outgoing deliveries and shipments
• Verify orders are packed correctly before shipment
• Assist with administrative and clerical tasks related to lab operations
• Help manage paperwork, filing, and order documentation
• Enter and update order information in computer systems
• Answer phones and assist with communication between departments when needed
• Support scheduling, tracking, and general office organization
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the lab area
• Support team members with various operational duties as needed
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards
• Perform additional duties assigned by management

What You Bring

• Previous lab, warehouse, shipping, or administrative experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Basic computer and administrative skills
