Job summary

Bruker Corporation in Madison, WI, is hiring a Manufacturing Technician to assemble instrumentation and subassemblies for optical microscopes used in life science imaging. You will work with QA/QC and manufacturing engineering to deliver high-quality products.

The role requires hands-on electromechanical experience, ability to read drawings, and lifting 25–30 lbs. Base salary range $42,300–$75,000 with benefits including 401(k), stock purchase plan, medical/dental, life and disability insurance,

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on electromechanical experience.
Experience with basic mechanical tools and electrical testing tools.
Ability to read assembly drawings.
Must be able to lift 25–30 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

Assemble and manufacture instrumentation, subassemblies, and precision components.
Test assemblies and sub-systems by running electrical/mechanical tests.
Execute written SOPs and work instructions.
Modify and fabricate parts using small hand tools and under microscope (up to 40× magnification).
Debug assemblies or systems in cooperation with production team or engineering.
Work with manufacturing engineering to alter/improve assembly instructions.
Assist other departments as needed and as directed by the supervisor.
Ensure timely completion of assignments while meeting or exceeding quality standards.
Accurately document work performed and maintain production records.
Maintain a clean work environment.
