Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Dallas, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, service, and repair in-line optical processing equipment. You’ll diagnose issues with meters, interpret drawings, and return assets to service with minimal downtime.

You will also author and update SOPs, train peers, and ensure safety in a fast-paced production environment. Requires 1–2 years of maintenance experience, basic mechanical and electrical skills, and willingness to overtime.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience in a production setting, optical processing exposure a plus.
• Foundational mechanical and electrical skills.
• Familiarity with schematics; HVAC and/or welding experience preferred but not required.
• Solid basic math and computer literacy.
• Clear written and verbal communication; strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair in-line manufacturing equipment across optical processing operations.
• Diagnose issues using meters and standard electronic test tools; interpret drawings and schematics.
• Replace failed parts, validate fixes, and return assets to service with minimal downtime.
• Author and update SOPs and work instructions.
• Inspect and service production assets across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Guide and train peers; provide hands-on direction to individuals or small groups.
