Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support Lab Ops, performing installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on optical processing equipment. The role requires basic mechanical and electrical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow complex instructions in a fast-paced production environment.

Applicants should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

1-2 years of maintenance experience in production environments; optical processing equipment is a plus.
Basic math skills required.
Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on line manufacturing equipment.
Locate and diagnose failures, replace defective components, and perform basic troubleshooting using standard tools and documentation.
Create/update standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Inspect and repair production and support equipment using mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum technologies.
Provide guidance, training and direction to assigned personnel or teams.
