Job summary

Meta is seeking an Optical Engineer to drive optics validation within Release to Production NPI. You will pair deep optical-transceiver expertise with Python scripting to automate testing and qualify optical modules for mass production.

You will develop optics test automation, lead NPI programs end-to-end with vendors and ODMs, and contribute to optical networking standards within Meta's lab environments.

Qualifications

• Develop and maintain Python scripts and test automation for qualification of optical transceivers and subsystems across EVT, DVT, PVT, and characterization.
• Lead optics NPI programs end to end with vendors and ODMs from RFI/RFP through EVT/DVT/PVT to mass production.
• Find, debug, and remediate optical hardware failure modes and drive corrective action with vendors.

Responsibilities
