Job summary

Southwest Range Services in Las Cruces, NM seeks a senior IT/IASO professional to manage and secure data systems supporting high-speed optical data processing. You will administer Windows servers, support user software, and develop database tools for equipment usage and billing.

Eligibility for a SECRET clearance is required; travel/field work possible. Qualifications include a BS in a related field or 5 years of relevant experience, knowledge of TCP/IP networks, and the ability to obtain

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology or five years relevant experience.
Knowledge of TCP/IP on LANs and across WANs; experience with office suites, databases, and complex distributed test applications.
Must obtain CompTIA Security+ Certification within six months; eligible for SECRET clearance; able to lift up to 50 pounds; valid driver's license; able to work in field environment.

Responsibilities

System administration for equipment used to collect, convert, edit, and archive high speed optical data.
Develop and maintain database software to record and track equipment usage and data analysis.
Provide technical support for user and client software; manage user accounts and group policy.
May serve as IASO and develop site-specific security policies and procedures.
