Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS/MS in Engineering or Computer Science or related field (undergraduate/graduate).
• Familiarity with engineering process fundamentals and scientific methodology (e.g. designing and using critical experiments).
• Data/statistical analysis skills.
• Analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present information clearly.
• Working knowledge or experience with design of experiments (DOE) concepts.
• Available for 10 weeks Summer 2027 (May–August 2027) with a graduation date in/after Dec 2027.
• Interested in Corning, Inc after graduation for potential full-time opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Own key project objectives within a team environment central to Corning’s success.
• Interface with engineering and operations groups to assess impact of product and process changes.
• Communicate concerns and obtain buy-in across levels of the organization.
• Review performance data on new processes/findings and draw actionable conclusions.
• Present findings and recommendations to project teams and leadership.
